What a big game tonight?! The second huge matchup of the year after the Patriots/Colts game a few weeks ago. Neither of these teams is undefeated, but they both are 10-1 and have distinguished themselves as the two best teams in the NFC. Recall before the season started that I predicted the Cowboys would make it to the Superbowl and most thought I was crazy, but it looking like a decent prediction now.

So for tonight’s game who do I like: my heart says Green Bay, but my head says Dallas. So…I’ll take Dallas for several reasons. I really like their two headed attack at running back with Julius Jones and Marion Barber - both of which are very hard runners…Barber punishes tacklers. I also think the loss of Charles Woodson is going to really hurt the Packers tonight with Al harris being occupied with TO for the entire game. This will leave the oft-burned Jared Bush to cover some others which is a tall order. Ironically, had Jared Bush blocked the Detroit Lion last week on that punt return Woodson would have not only scored a TD, but also not have been injured.

I also think the running game for the Packers will not stand up to the Cowboys defensive line this week. I think they are too big for the Packer line to handle. In the end Favre will have to start getting risky which will lead to possible turnovers.

Staying in this game will be important for the Pack and a start like they had on Thanksgiving day would be diaster for them. I do think they have a chance if they stay in the game and can run the ball a small amount…if they can rush for 100 yards on the day they can stay in the game.  All that being said I like the Cowboys by 13 in a high scoring game:  37-24.
